On October 23rd, Worth Fighting For takes on Queen’s Park!
Over the past year, community and social services workers in OPSEU/SEFPO and CUPE Ontario have been organizing and building power. Thousands of workers across the province have leveraged that power by taking coordinated strike mandate votes. Now, the Worth Fighting For campaign is taking the heat straight to Queen’s Park!
Come out on October 23 – the week the legislature returns – to show the Ford government community and social services workers won’t stop until we get the wages and funding we deserve!
We’re taking our fight for long-term funding and justice for stolen wages right to the Ford government’s doorstep. We’re bringing our fight straight into the legislature, starting with a news conference and packing the legislature gallery for question period! Then, we’ll be taking our demands to the streets of Toronto, with a rally and march at the Ministry doorsteps.
This is the moment we’ve been building power towards. Let’s show the Ford government that community and social services are WORTH FIGHTING FOR!
