Registration deadlines are fast approaching for the Women’s Conference, taking place March 4 – 7 at the Toronto Sheraton Centre.
This conference is for CUPE members who identify as women. However, the evening program on March 4, from 7 PM to 9 PM is open to all CUPE members.
The evening will include greetings from Fred Hahn, President of CUPE Ontario and Candace Rennick, Secretary-Treasurer of CUPE Ontario.
We’ve also confirmed R&B artist and union organizer, Lynn-Marie Smith as our keynote speaker of the night.
Crowned the Motown Diva because of her powerful and soulful voice, it promises to be a high-energy and inspiring performance you won’t want to miss!
We’ll have an exciting lineup of speakers throughout the conference and hands-on training aimed at empowering women in our union.
Locals are encouraged to help strengthen equality in our union and send as many members as possible.
