SCARBOROUGH, ON – Scarborough residents are teaming up with the Keep Hydro Public coalition to launch a new phase in the campaign to stop hydro privatization on Saturday, February 27.
The people of Ontario still own 85 percent of Hydro One. Next Saturday, Scarborough residents will attend an organizing meeting before they fan out to distribute leaflets and posters urging Liberal MPPs Brad Duguid and Lorenzo Berardinetti to stop any further sale of Hydro One while there is still time to keep it under public control.
Spokespeople will be available in several languages.
