Les membres de la section locale 1600 du SCFP sont en grève afin de protéger de bons emplois qui soutiennent nos collectivités, et pour obtenir les meilleurs soins possibles pour les 5 000 animaux du Zoo de Toronto. La direction du Zoo veut que les travailleurs acceptent un contrat qui affaiblit la sécurité d’emploi. Cette région compte déjà trop d’emplois instables et précaires. Il est impossible d’avoir un établissement d’éducation, de recherche et de conservation de renommée mondiale avec des emplois instables et précaires. Aidez les membres de la section locale 1600 du SCFP à obtenir une convention collective juste et équitable qui soutient un établissement de renommée mondiale que tout le monde peut être fier d’appeler ‘Notre Zoo de Toronto’.
Barbecue de solidarité, le 18 mai
La semaine dernière, près de 400 membres de la section locale 1600 du SCFP ont entrepris un mouvement de grève au Zoo de Toronto afin de défendre de bons emplois qui soutiennent les collectivités ainsi que les programmes de recherche, d’éducation et de conservation qui font du Zoo un établissement de renommée mondiale.
Joignez-vous au SCFP-Ontario et aux membres de la section locale 1600 du SCFP en grève pour un barbecue de solidarité, le jeudi 18 mai.
