Peterborough public services are worth it!

Peterborough Community Service Award:

Candace Rennick with Lynda Bolton, Pat Crough and Marisa Giuliani

There are many CUPE activists throughout Ontario that work hard every day to defend public services and good

paying jobs. Peterborough is no different in this respect. All three presidents of the Peterborough municipal locals work collaboratively and tirelessy to build a municipal coalition. The District Council recognized the work of the three Presidents, Lynda Bolton, president of CUPE 126 (inside workers), Pat Crough, president of CUPE 504 (outside workers), and Marisa Giuliani, president of CUPE 1833 (library workers), and in the fall of 2011 awarded each with a Community Service Award. Featured here are the three presidents with Candace Rennick, CUPE Ontario Secretary-Treasurer at the award night.
