All of us at CUPE Ontario would like to extend our best wishes to you, your family and the members of your local union over this holiday season.
We know these holidays may not be so restful for the thousands of Ontario workers who have lost their jobs in the current economic crisis, or for whole communities that face uncertain economic times. So let us take extra care this year to strengthen the bonds of solidarity and good will in our workplaces, our homes and our communities, and let this spirit carry us into the New Year.
We take great hope in the strength of our union and our growing capacity to organize and mobilize our members. We also are encouraged by the knowledge that working people have overcome incredible odds to build a more caring and inclusive society and we won’t stop now.
