Defending Workers' Rights Banner

CUPE members packed halls across Ontario in November, vowing to stand together against legislation that removes collective bargaining rights and impartial contract arbitration.

Members gathered for 20 regional meetings to learn about Bill 115, which attacks the rights of school board workers. They also mobilized against proposed legislation that attacks bargaining rights and interest arbitration for workers across the broader public sector.

At each meeting, members formed regional mobilization committees that will build the campaign in their communities, working across sectors and workplaces.
