Your City Needs You!

Phase one has shown that the people of Toronto do not want service cuts or privitization of services in our city.  Phase two gives us the opportunity to make deputations to the city, participate in actions, and show our support for city services.

One Toronto has reviewed the KPMG reports and provided summaries of the key points you need to know about the ‘opportunities’ for savings.  You can find summaries of the results from the Public Consultation & reports to Public Works & Infrastructure, Community Development & Recreation & Economic Development Committees at the One Toronto website: http://www.onetoronto.ca/.

How you can help – Take Action!

  • Sign up and make a deputation to the Special Standing Committees at City Hall.  (See “Important Dates.pdf” below for a list of standing committees).  Encourage your friends, family, neighbours, and colleagues to depute too.  Want more information on making a deputation?  Click Here
  • Talk to your friends, family, and colleagues about what is at stake in Toronto and encourage them to get involved and speak up for our city. Bring a friend to the council meeting.
  • If you need assistance in deputing or joining a ward team, please call Yolanda McClean at 416-885-6395,  Toronto Anti-Privatization Coordinator
