Windsor, ON …  Parents of children at Windsor daycares slated to close will visit Dwight Duncan’s constituency office on Tuesday to give the Finance Minister a giant “budget cookie” decorated with all the numbers parents say Duncan will need to get the right mix in his March 25 Budget.

The “budget cookie” will show the number of daycares that will close, child spaces that will be lost and the number of Moms and Dads who will be unable to keep working because there’s no space for their child, if Duncan proceeds with a proposed $63.5 million cut to child care funding in Thursday’s budget.
