Wilfrid Laurier University rejects arbitration offer, CUPE 926 on strike to defend good jobs in Waterloo
Wilfrid Laurier University Workers were forced out on strike on July 10th when the university took the aggressive stance of changing the working conditions set out in the collective agreement.
Workers are on strike to defend against the university’s attacks on the custodians whose jobs the university wants to sub-contract to a multinational corporation that does not pay a living wage.
