Workers with Disabilities Committee
This committee is comprised of members elected biannually at the CUPE Ontario Human Rights Conferences. Our mandate is to advocate for and raise awareness of disability issues within our union. We have been actively involved in issues of accessibility at CUPE Ontario events such as conferences, conventions and schools and continue to build on the successes we've made.
The Workers with Disabilities Committee makes recommendations regarding disability issues to the Ontario Division as well as advocate for education and training specific to persons with disabilities.
