We’ve never been so thankful for the front-line public sector workers who keep Ontario running — especially during such challenging times. They maintained the public services we rely on more than ever and took care of our loved ones. Working different jobs, they’ve helped keep our communities as safe as possible during the height of the pandemic, while putting themselves at risk. And they did all this while largely being underpaid, overworked and unprotected.
You would think if there was ever a time to do more than call them heroes, it would be now. But not only are the Ford Conservatives failing to ramp up supports — they’re using this critical moment in our history to attack the legal rights of the people who make our communities what they are.
