CUPE Ontario is holding a series of special leadership meetings across the province. All locals are urged to ensure they are represented at these meetings.
In every sector and every community, we are hearing of new demands for concessions, increased privatization and a dangerous move toward two-tiered contracts. We need to know what you are facing and expecting to face in your negotiations and prepare for this difficult new bargaining environment.
We also need to prepare for attacks on our collective bargaining rights and plans to eliminate union security and pass right-to-work laws.
