Durham Christian Homes is laying off workers at its Marnwood long-term care home as it relocates to Whitby.
Let’s collectively tell the employer to negotiate a fair deal.
Cars will meet at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex, 2440 Durham Regional Hwy 2, Bowmanville, at 10:30 am to decorate vehicles. Then we’ll proceed to Marnwood.
After, there will be a socially distanced rally at 2pm till 3pm along King St., in Bowmanville. Folks are asked to meet at the Bank of Montreal, 2 King St. East, corner of King and Temperance. People will spread out 2 metres apart along both sides of King St.
