ONDP Women’s Conference – February 25, 2017
All women and women-identified members of the Ontario NDP are invited to attend an important one day conference.
Women run! Making change in electoral politics
Saturday, February 25
Time: Opening starts at 9:30 a.m., conference will go until 5 p.m.
Location: OPSEU Hall, 31 Wellesley St. East Toronto, ON M4Y 1G7
Cost: $60 per ONDP member, $75 for guests/non-members and $30 for low-income. Registration fee includes lunch.
* NDP members are encouraged to contact their local provincial riding association for financial assistance with registration.
This year’s conference will focus on supporting women candidates to run and win!
Facilitators and speakers will share their experiences and lessons on how to run local election campaigns. Through plenary sessions and workshops, women will share and learn skills that are crucial in every local election campaign. Our aim is to provide tips, tools and femtors to support local organizing and build strong leadership to win in the next election.
Regardless if you want to be a candidate, run a campaign or perfect your outreach skills, this one day conference is for you!
Reminder: members attending the conference will also elect the next Ontario NDP Women’s Committee.
