VIGIL: There will be music to honour the fourteen women murdered in 1989 at Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal.  This is an event to raise awareness of violence against women.

Ottawa, ON

The Women’s Monument in Minto Park

December 6th, 2015 @ 6 PM at the Women’s Monument. This outdoor Vigil is followed by an ecumenical gathering at the First United church on Richmond Road in Ottawa at 7:30PM

VIGIL: Vigil participants interactively participate in the vigil by placing lanterns at the foot of the monument to mark each of the 14 women from Montreal and a larger lantern to represent local women.
