Kathleen Wynne has announced that she’s moving ahead to sell 60% of Hydro One. Selling any portion of a vital public asset that makes us hundreds of millions a year is a bad idea. Our hydro rates will go up, our province will lose revenue, and CUPE members in every sector will be squeezed even harder at the bargaining table. CUPE Ontario has vowed to fight this plan.
The call is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 27th at 6:30 pm.
