A daily newsletter en route to Windsor June 12
For June 8, 2009, B minus four days

What’s New: And I would ride 500 miles and I would ride 500 more…

More and more CUPE members from across Ontario are signing up to board the bus! Our latest entry comes from CUPE members in North Bay, a 10-hour drive from Windsor! Now that’s dedication!

Letters from Windsor:

This message came in from a CUPE member from Windsor earlier today…
“I’d personally like to thank you for posting the “Hold the Line” video. I am a CUPE worker and I was honestly giving up all hope. It is so disheartening to feel like our whole community has plotted against you. And now that I’ve seen this video, I have some hope left and my spirits have been lifted.”

If you haven’t caught “Hold the Line,” then run—don’t walk—to your computer and log onto www.cupe.on.ca, then click the “convention video” box.

Music and Passion:

Everyone knows the membership has passion to spare, so stay tuned to this Bulletin for an update on a special musical guest, to be announced!

Join us! Buses are filling up fast and more will be laid on as the need arises. Our sisters and brothers in Windsor need your support, so book the day off and contact a CUPE rep in your region to find out where you can board the bus! Click here to find out which bus is closest to you!
