Rally for Lincoln County Humane Society workers – March 3

This Saturday, March 3 there will be a BBQ and rally in support of the CUPE Local 1287 Lincoln County Humane Society unit in St. Catharines who have been on strike since February 24.

Lincoln County Humane Society workers are on strike to stop management’s attempt to create a two-tier workforce.  In addition to demanding concessions, including wage rollbacks and no benefits for new employees, management threw in more demands during the last day of mediation talks. 

Come out and join us on March 3 at 10AM.  The rally will take place at 160 – 4th Avenue in St. Catharines (corner of 4th and Martindale)
