CUPE Ontario, through the Health Care Workers Coordinating Committee (HCWCC), and community and health care allies are pushing the provincial government to enact a minimum standard of direct hands-on care of 3.5 hours per day, per resident in each and every long-term care. Until the province increases care time by introducing legislated standards, we will continue to advocate for an increase to a minimum of 3.5 hours.

Join our call for the provincial government to make 3.5 hours of direct hands-on care law.

Sign our on-line petition and send a message to your MPP to tell them “it’s time to care!”
