On Friday, November 26, hundreds of health care workers and their supporters rallied in front of Ontario’s Ministry of Health offices in downtown Toronto. Their message was simple—Bed closures, program cuts and transferring elderly patients to substandard private care are NOT the answers to Ontario’s health care problems.

That message was came across loudly and clearly from CUPE Ontario President Fred Hahn and Secretary-Treasurer Candace Rennick, CUPE National President Paul Moist, OCHU President Michael Hurley and a host of others.
