Members vote overwhelmingly to ratify new three-year contract with Canadian Hearing Services
More than 200 members at Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) have been on strike since April 28, fighting back against the low wages and practices that are hurting the quality and depth of services for Deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing Ontarians. Meanwhile, the salary of CHS president and CEO Julia Dumanian topped $340,000 last year.
