Don’t be fooled! This federal election is really important for you, your family, your job and your community. On October 14th, the votes of CUPE Ontario members across the province are critical.
You have a clear choice to make. If the Conservatives continue to govern, we soon won’t recognize Canada. Harper wants to privatize health care and public services. There’s a manufacturing jobs crisis. There’s money for war but no social programs. There’s tax cuts but no money for women’s equality, the arts. And Harper is funding polluters while ignoring our environment.
Stephen Harper and his government are no friends of public services or working people. Let’s face it, they just don’t share the same values as most us.
Who’s Making a Difference?
Contrast that to the New Democrats who are working to protect jobs, shrink the widening income gap, invest in child care, tackle climate change, and stop privatization. They’re focused on the kitchen table, not the boardroom table. Make an informed choice to protect public services and your job. Most importantly, vote.
