Last fall, Toronto City Council, the sole shareholder, gave direction to Toronto Hydro Corporation to develop a process for input, consultation and feedback from the public and elected officials who do not sit on the Board. Council also requested that Hydro regularly hold an open public forum for members of the public to address Toronto Hydro directly.
Yet Toronto Hydro has moved forward, without public input, consultation or feedback, to sell off a profit-making company that belongs to the public.
Toronto Hydro Telecom belongs to all of us. Insist that Toronto Hydro schedule an open public forum where we can have our say about the future of Toronto Hydro Telecom. Click on the button below to send a message to Toronto City Council and Mayor Miller.
