TORONTO, Ont. − Fred Hahn, president of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Ontario, will join members and injured worker advocates for an information picket outside the Ministry of Labour in Toronto tomorrow.

CUPE Ontario is concerned that changes at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) will reduce benefits to workers injured on the job and increase the number of claims being denied. CUPE is also advocating for coverage to be extended so that workers are not left without adequate protection.

WHAT:         Information picket raising awareness about changes to WSIB
