CUPE 1001 reaches tentative agreement with University of Windsor

WINDSOR, Ont. – Negotiators for Local 1001 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 1001) have reached a tentative agreement with the University of Windsor.

The tentative agreement follows two days of intense bargaining with the assistance of a provincially-appointed mediator.

Details of the agreement are not being released pending ratification by the membership of CUPE 1001, which is expected to take place Sunday.

Accordingly, no further comment will be made until after ratification.
