WINDSOR, Ont. – Striking University of Windsor skilled trades and professional staff, members of Local 1393 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 1393), will be joined tomorrow by labour and student leaders to host an ‘un-cancelled’ campus community barbecue in front of Kerr House.

Notice to Newsdesks, Assignment Editors and Producers:  CUPE 1393 President Dean Roy will be joined by Fred Hahn and Candace Rennick, President and Secretary-Treasurer of CUPE Ontario respectively, as well as Andrea Madden, CUPE Windsor District Council President, and representatives of student, faculty and labour organizations that are standing in support of CUPE 1393.

Media are invited to cover the barbecue. Upon conclusion of the barbecue, there will be a media availability scheduled.
