SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. – Local union presidents and Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) activists from across Northern Ontario will gather in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, from October 3, to October 5, 2012, for the Northern Ontario CUPE Conference. This is a regional working conference for elected leaders, activists and staff, and media are invited to the opening ceremonies on Wednesday, October 3, beginning at 6:00 pm, at the Delta Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront, 208 St. Mary’s River Drive.
