The Put Food in the Budget campaign brought a life size mannequin of Premier McGuinty to communities across Ontario this spring and summer. People with low incomes, and their allies, in communities across Ontario, challenged Premier McGuinty, in vivid testimony, to ‘walk in their shoes’ to understand what austerity really is. Many people spoke on video to send a message to the Premier and we have created a summary video to deliver to the Premier. This ‘summary’ video will be released shortly and we want you to help us create some ‘buzz’ about it – to make it hard for Premier McGuinty to ignore the people who spoke out.
