MARKHAM, ON—On Tuesday, June 12, the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) will celebrate the grand opening of their new Ontario Regional Office in Markham.


The 68,000 square foot facility, designed by Taylor_Smyth Architects and Edward Wojs Architect working in joint venture, will house about 75 CUPE staff who provide legal, bargaining, education, communications and administrative support to CUPE Locals and field staff that assist CUPE’s 210,000 members in Ontario.


Local media and Architectural writers are cordially invited to attend the official grand opening, which begins at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, and ends at 2 p.m.
