MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Following public statements that the Region of Peel was prepared to go back to the bargaining table, the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 966 extended an invitation to return to bargaining and the Region has accepted! The parties will meet on Tuesday, May 15.

The members at Ontario Works, who are predominantly women and work in high stress jobs, are seeking equity and fairness from the Region, and they are fighting off concessions.

Join us Thursday, May 10, at a RALLY FOR A FAIR DEAL – a rally that will support the new round of bargaining – when the Region of Peel Councillors meet at 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton.
