Lobby Kit:
The 2012 Ontario budget, released on March 27, will increase poverty, kill jobs and hurt communities without fixing the economy. It includes cuts to almost every sector in a misguided attempt to eliminate the deficit.
Contrary to Government claims, these cuts will slow economic recovery, delay balancing the budget and cause real hardship for every community.
We need to tell MPPs that we reject their austerity agenda. Use the lobby kit documents on this page to help call for a budget that instead includes economic growth, initiatives to create good jobs, and that preserves and enhances public services.
