One year ago this week, Canadians experienced one of the worst attacks on civil liberties and freedom of speech in our nation’s history. More than 1,000 people were arrested or detained in Toronto during the G20 Summit.

One year later, Canadians are still demanding answers. Why were more than 1,000 people arrested or detained without ever being charged? Who authorized the gross violation of the most basic human rights of freedom of speech and freedom of assembly?
