Fred Hahn will tell Finance Committee to “Build a Better Ontario” through wise investments
in human, physical infrastructure and fair corporate taxation

TORONTO, Ont. – Fred Hahn, President of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Ontario, will present the Union’s recommendations for the upcoming Provincial Budget to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario’s Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs on Tuesday, February 1, at 2:15 p.m.

Mr. Hahn is expected to tell MPPs and the McGuinty Government to “Build a Better Ontario” through a balanced approach of wise investments in vital services and physical infrastructure, while ensuring corporations pay their fair share of the Provincial tax burden. By doing so, Ontario’s fragile economic recovery can continue to strengthen.
