On Saturday, July 24, two Ottawa area CUPE Locals (Local 503 municipal employees, Local 4000 hospital employees) joined together with the Ottawa and District Labour Council and the Ottawa law firm Jewitt McLuckie and Associates barristers/solicitors to sponsor ROCK 4 HAITI.
The Family friendly, all day free rock concert at Andrew Hayden Park on the shores of the Ottawa River was held to raise money for the Red Cross’s HAITI Earthquake Relief program.
The event was a wonderful initiative and was supported by CUPE Ontario.
