OTTAWA, Ont. – Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Ontario President Fred Hahn will be in Ottawa on July 24 to support the Rock-For-Haiti concert.
 
The July 24 free rock concert is being held to raise money for Red Cross Haitian earthquake relief.  The event is sponsored by CUPE Ontario, along with Ottawa area hospital and municipal employees’ locals CUPE 503 and CUPE 4000, the Ottawa and District Labour Council, and city law firm Jewitt–McLuckie.

Scheduled to perform at Rock-For-Haiti are: Staff 613, The Bruised Egos, The Be Band and Two Weeks Notice.

Fred Hahn will speak from the stage between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m.
 
This will be a family event with special activities for the kids.
