OTTAWA, Ont. – Ottawa will be host to a free rock concert on Saturday, July 24. The event is being held to raise money for Red Cross Haitian earthquake relief and is sponsored by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Ontario, along with area hospital and municipal employees’ locals, CUPE 503 and CUPE 4000, the Ottawa & District Labour Council, and city law firm of Jewitt McLuckie & Associates.

 

Scheduled to perform at Rock For Haiti are: Staff 613, The Bruised Egos, The Be Band and Two Weeks Notice.  This will be a family event with special activities for the kids.
