 TORONTO, Ont. – Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Ontario leader Fred Hahn will appear before the Ontario Standing Committee on Social Policy today to express support and concerns his union has for Bill 242; an Act to Amend the Education Act.

Hahn will tell the committee CUPE Ontario supports early learning provided in an integrated public delivery model ensuring quality of care, but will caution that the government is only implementing part of the vision for early learning and needs to be clear on a timetable and on stabilization of funding for childcare in general.
