Julia Dumanian’s pay has skyrocketed in her time as CEO of Canadian Hearing Services. While workers who deliver critical programs for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing have fallen 16% behind inflation, Julia is making 122% more than the agencies last CEO.
That means that while workers are trying to stretch their paycheques further during a cost of living crisis, Julia is now earning $340,250.
This isn’t the first time Julia has enriched herself at the expense of Ontario taxpayers. Before she was terminated from Cambridge Memorial Hospital, she was paid $535,000 in severance.
This troubling track record helps explain why CHS is a revolving door of staff, burning workers out with while Deaf and hard of hearing Ontarians get declining services.
That must change. Send a message today to help get CHS back on track.
