Please join CUPE Ontario as we march on Queen’s Park with the Ontario Health Coalition who have organized a Mass Protest on Monday, September 25, 2023 at noon.
We want to send the Ford Government a strong message and set the tone when the Ontario Legislature reopens on September 25, 2023.
We want them to know that we are NOT going away, and that we are inextricably opposed to the privatization of public hospitals.
The demands are the following:
- Stop the privatization of our public hospitals,
- Stop creating a crisis in our public hospitals by underfunding them, cutting and closing services, and trying to roll back wages of nurses, health professionals and support staff,
- Expand the use of existing OR’s in our public hospitals, and
- Expand capacity in our public hospitals and restore closed services.
