Carleton Place, ON – Randy Hillier, MPP for Lanark, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington, will join the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), the union representing 90 striking developmental services workers in Lanark County, in a press conference tomorrow, Friday, August 28.

CUPE will announce its decision concerning picket lines outside the residences of the people the CUPE members support.  There have been several disturbing incidents since “replacement workers” started working CUPE jobs and the picketers’ presence has been a comfort to many residents.
