It amazes me that all of the coverage about Ontario’s Bill 115 is solely based on the “teachers” and their sick leave payout. I have worked as a custodian for 23 years, and, because I have not abused my sick days, had accumulated 300 days as a protection for illness or injury in my later years. My union does not get any sort of payout upon retirement for these days. Now Dalton McGuinty’s Liberals have stripped me of that earned benefit. But those in government still take very good care of themselves, don’t they?
