Municipal councils and school boards make decisions that shape every aspect of our working lives and our lives beyond the workplace.
I pledge to take part in CUPE’s 2026 Municipal and Trustee Election Campaign “Our Work. Our Vote.” to build worker power where it matters most: at the ballot box.
I know that CUPE members work hard in our communities and our schools and that municipal Council and trustee decisions have a direct impact on our jobs, communities, and futures.
By signing this pledge, I commit to:
✅ Support CUPE’s mission to defend public services and advance the social, economic, and democratic rights of workers.
✅ Engage my coworkers and community to raise awareness about how municipal and school board politics impact our work and working conditions.
✅ Mobilize for the 2026 election by voting, speaking out, and supporting candidates who respect workers and the public services we deliver.
✅ Defend civil rights, union freedoms, and the dignity of public sector workers, in our workplaces and at the polls.
Because communities and schools work because we do and this election, our work needs our vote.
