BRANTFORD, ON – CUPE Ontario President Fred Hahn, CUPE Local 181 President, Jennifer Kirby, workers and community members will rally against Ford’s Conservative cuts that has forced the Board of Brant Family and Children’s Services to resign on Friday, July 12.

The Board has decided to resign altogether rather than make further cuts to staff that are providing essential child welfare services. The protest will demand the Conservative government stop putting our children at risk and immediately reinstate funding to child welfare services.

The protest will begin with a march followed by a rally at local Conservative MPP William Bouma’s office.
