Mais il s&rsquo;agit l\u00e0 d&rsquo;un comportement typique de Julia Dumanian et de Canadian Hearing Services (CHS).<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Depuis qu&rsquo;elle a pris ses fonctions de PDG en 2015, les travailleurs ont le sentiment profond qu&rsquo;elle a essay\u00e9 d&rsquo;affaiblir notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre nos int\u00e9r\u00eats tout en r\u00e9duisant les services que nous fournissons. C&rsquo;est un nouveau coup bas, mais il suit un sch\u00e9ma familier\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Andre Crepeau, qui a travaill\u00e9 \u00e0 la CHS en tant que sp\u00e9cialiste des dispositifs de communication pendant 28 ans et qui a r\u00e9cemment pris sa retraite.\u00a0 \u00ab\u00a0Les travailleurs ont l&rsquo;impression qu&rsquo;elle ne s&rsquo;int\u00e9resse pas aux n\u00e9gociations et que tout ce qui compte pour elle, c&rsquo;est la perception du public et les profits\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Le salaire de M. Dumanian a augment\u00e9 de 178 % en neuf ans. Au cours de la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode, les salaires des travailleurs n&rsquo;ont augment\u00e9 que de 12 %. Alors que M. Dumanian empoche 340 250 dollars par an, les ch\u00e8ques de paie des travailleurs ont perdu une grande partie de leur pouvoir d&rsquo;achat, avec une baisse de 16 % par rapport \u00e0 l&rsquo;inflation.<\/p>\n<p>Les quelque 200 membres du SCFP 2073 effectuent un travail vital, souvent invisible. En tant que conseillers, audiologistes, orthophonistes, interpr\u00e8tes et autres, ils aident les Ontariens sourds et malentendants \u00e0 trouver un emploi et \u00e0 le r\u00e9ussir, font des visites \u00e0 domicile pour \u00e9quiper les appareils fonctionnels, fournissent des services d&rsquo;interpr\u00e9tation en langue des signes et bien plus encore.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Autrefois, c&rsquo;\u00e9tait un employeur de choix. Les gens voulaient y faire leur carri\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Crepeau. \u00ab\u00a0Mais ce n&rsquo;est plus le cas aujourd&rsquo;hui. On a l&rsquo;impression qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas d&rsquo;avenir ici, qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas de fiert\u00e9 dans le service que les travailleurs fournissent. Ce sentiment est omnipr\u00e9sent parce que les travailleurs ressentent une pression constante pour faire tourner les clients comme s&rsquo;ils n&rsquo;\u00e9taient que des chiffres dans un bilan\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>En r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 l&rsquo;appel de \u00ab\u00a0non commission de n\u00e9gociation\u00a0\u00bb, les membres du SCFP 2073 ont organis\u00e9 un vote de gr\u00e8ve auquel plus de 85 % d&rsquo;entre eux ont particip\u00e9 et 146 ont vot\u00e9 pour la gr\u00e8ve.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Julia Dumanian a per\u00e7u plus d&rsquo;un demi-million de dollars d&rsquo;indemnit\u00e9s de d\u00e9part apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 licenci\u00e9e du Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Et ce, apr\u00e8s avoir accumul\u00e9 plus de 160 000 dollars en frais de nourriture et de d\u00e9placement en deux ans seulement. Aujourd&rsquo;hui, elle re\u00e7oit 340 000 $ par an d&rsquo;un autre organisme financ\u00e9 par le gouvernement, ce qui soul\u00e8ve des questions sur ses priorit\u00e9s et ses valeurs en tant que dirigeante\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Fred Hahn, pr\u00e9sident du SCFP de l&rsquo;Ontario. \u00ab\u00a0Mais la responsabilit\u00e9 ne s&rsquo;arr\u00eate pas \u00e0 elle. Le CHS est en lice pour l&rsquo;obtention d&rsquo;une brillante coche d&rsquo;Agr\u00e9ment Canada. Il d\u00e9pend d&rsquo;une bonne \u00e9valuation de Charity Intelligence. Elle d\u00e9pend du minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 et du minist\u00e8re des Enfants, des Communaut\u00e9s et des Services sociaux pour son financement. Tous ces groupes devraient examiner de pr\u00e8s un employeur qui n\u00e9glige le bien-\u00eatre de ses travailleurs. Et si elle ose mettre ces travailleurs en lock-out, les 290 000 membres du SCFP Ontario seront aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de ce groupe une fois de plus\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Le 8 avril, un mandat de non commission de n\u00e9gociation a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9mis, ce qui signifie que les deux parties seront en position d&rsquo;action l\u00e9gale d&rsquo;ici le 25 avril, date \u00e0 laquelle les deux parties retourneront en conciliation.
