MATHESON, ON<\/strong> \u2013 Les travailleurs municipaux du canton de Black River-Matheson sont toujours en lock-out, \u00e0 la suite de pourparlers non fructueux lundi, aboutissant par une absence d’entente.<\/p>\n

La section locale 1490 du SCFP s’est rendue \u00e0 la table des n\u00e9gociations dans l’espoir de parvenir \u00e0 une entente \u00e9quitable, mais la r\u00e9union s’est achev\u00e9e tr\u00e8s vite.<\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 la volont\u00e9 du syndicat de poursuivre sur la lanc\u00e9e de la session de n\u00e9gociation de la semaine derni\u00e8re, l’employeur a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une offre qui ne r\u00e9pondait pas aux attentes.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous sommes arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 la table de n\u00e9gociation avec l’espoir de parvenir \u00e0 une entente \u00e9quitable qui permettrait \u00e0 nos membres de passer les f\u00eates en famille et de retourner au travail au nouvel an, \u00bb d\u00e9clare Serge Bouchard, pr\u00e9sident de la section locale 1490 du SCFP. \u00ab Malheureusement, nous ne sommes plus optimistes. \u00bb<\/p>\n

La s\u00e9ance de n\u00e9gociation a commenc\u00e9 le lendemain du jour o\u00f9 l’\u00e9quipe de direction de la section locale 1490 du SCFP a organis\u00e9 une f\u00eate de No\u00ebl r\u00e9confortante pour les 13 travailleurs municipaux et leurs familles. Le d\u00e9put\u00e9 n\u00e9o-d\u00e9mocrate Charlie Angus et le d\u00e9put\u00e9 provincial n\u00e9o-d\u00e9mocrate John Vanthof, la secr\u00e9taire-tr\u00e9sori\u00e8re du SCFP Ontario, Yolanda McClean, et le personnel du secteur municipal du SCFP \u00e9taient tous pr\u00e9sents.<\/p>\n
