Derni\u00e8rement, les n\u00e9gociations entre l&#8217;employeur et les travailleurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rompues en raison d&rsquo;un d\u00e9saccord sur les concessions. Selon M. Radford, l&#8217;employeur veut imposer aux membres un nombre ind\u00e9fini d&rsquo;affectations temporaires et veut des horaires de travail o\u00f9 les travailleurs seraient disponibles sur une plus longue p\u00e9riode, ce qui pourrait se traduire par des semaines de travail comprim\u00e9es, des quarts de travail fractionn\u00e9s et des quarts de travail rotatifs. Selon le syndicat, ces mesures auront un impact consid\u00e9rable sur les familles et leur qualit\u00e9 de vie.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Il ne nous reste plus beaucoup de temps, mais nous allons faire monter la pression, \u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Radford. \u00ab Matt Gaskell, directeur administratif de la Ville de Whitby, a indiqu\u00e9 que les conseillers municipaux et le maire ont donn\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;employeur le mandat d&rsquo;exiger ces concessions. Il faut leur faire comprendre qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une mauvaise entente. Nous m\u00e9ritons mieux.
