[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Cochrane, ON – <\/strong>Les travailleurs municipaux de la Ville de Cochrane, en Ontario, en gr\u00e8ve depuis le 31 juillet, principalement pour les salaires, viennent de rejeter une offre lors d’un vote forc\u00e9, selon le Syndicat canadien de la fonction publique (SCFP).<\/p>\n

\u00ab L’employeur peut bien essayer de faire passer sa derni\u00e8re offre pour meilleure qu’elle ne l’est, mais nous ne voyons rien venir et c’est pourquoi les membres ont massivement vot\u00e9 contre cette offre lors de ce vote forc\u00e9, \u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Lyne Nolet, pr\u00e9sidente de la section locale 71 du SCFP, qui repr\u00e9sente une soixantaine de membres actuellement en gr\u00e8ve. \u00ab L’offre n’\u00e9tait tout simplement pas assez bonne, elle ne nous aide pas \u00e0 aller de l’avant et encore moins \u00e0 suivre le rythme de la crise du co\u00fbt de la vie, et elle n’est m\u00eame pas comparable \u00e0 celle d’autres municipalit\u00e9s. Nous poursuivrons donc la gr\u00e8ve jusqu’\u00e0 ce que nous obtenions l’accord que nous m\u00e9ritons. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Alors que le syndicat a clairement indiqu\u00e9 qu’il ne se contenterait pas d’une augmentation salariale inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 3% par an, l’offre la plus r\u00e9cente de la Ville de Cochrane n’\u00e9tait que de 2% pour 2022, de 3% pour 2023 et de 2% ou de l’IPC, le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 des deux, tel qu’\u00e9tabli par Statistiques Canada le 1er<\/sup> janvier, avec un plafond de 3%, pour les ann\u00e9es 2024 et 2025.<\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 cela, l’\u00e9quipe de n\u00e9gociation de l’employeur a envoy\u00e9 un courriel \u00e0 tous les employ\u00e9s de la Ville de Cochrane, affirmant de mani\u00e8re inexacte qu’elle avait \u00ab d\u00e9pos\u00e9 ce que nous estimions \u00eatre une proposition salariale novatrice qui accorde aux employ\u00e9s une augmentation r\u00e9troactive de 2% la premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e, de 3% la deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e, puis de 3% la troisi\u00e8me et la quatri\u00e8me ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 condition que le taux d’inflation soit \u00e9gal ou sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 ce niveau. \u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab Ce qu’ils disent \u00e0 propos des ann\u00e9es 3 et 4 est compl\u00e8tement faux et constitue un acte d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9 pour induire en erreur, \u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Nolet. \u00ab Mais nous ne sommes pas tomb\u00e9s dans le pi\u00e8ge. Nous savons que nous m\u00e9ritons mieux qu’un vote forc\u00e9 sur une offre inad\u00e9quate. Nous resterons sur la ligne jusqu’\u00e0 ce que nous l’obtenions. \u00bb<\/p>\n
