Le Conseil des syndicats des conseils scolaires de l\u2019Ontario (CSCSO) du SCFP a accept\u00e9 le prix au nom des travailleurs de l\u2019\u00e9ducation. Ce fut une incroyable reconnaissance pour le Conseil qui a fait tellement pour mobiliser et organiser ses membres, particuli\u00e8rement les membres noirs et racis\u00e9s, dans le cadre d\u2019une lutte historique contre l\u2019aust\u00e9rit\u00e9 pour les membres les moins bien r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s du syst\u00e8me d\u2019\u00e9ducation.<\/p>\n<p>Le SCFP-Ontario remercie \u00e9galement l\u2019UARR qui travaille sans cesse \u00e0 mettre en lumi\u00e8re les liens qui existent entre la justice raciale et la justice \u00e9conomique. Notre syndicat soutient fermement ce travail alors que nos membres demandent que nous en fassions plus pour mettre en lumi\u00e8re le fait que les travailleurs noirs, racis\u00e9s et autochtones sont surrepr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans les emplois pr\u00e9caires faiblement r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s.\u00a0L\u2019organisation qui s\u2019est faite parmi les travailleurs de l\u2019\u00e9ducation du SCFP faisait partie des efforts croissants que font de nombreuses personnes pour se concentrer sur des fa\u00e7ons \u00ab\u00a0d\u2019augmenter le salaire\u00a0\u00bb des travailleurs les moins bien r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s. C\u2019est une partie essentielle de la lutte pour la justice raciale.<\/p>\n<p>Nous sommes extr\u00eamement fiers de la reconnaissance \u00e0 l\u2019effet que les travailleurs noirs, racis\u00e9s et autochtones ont jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans la plus r\u00e9cente lutte du secteur de l\u2019\u00e9ducation pour un travail et un salaire d\u00e9cents. Il ne fait aucun doute que leur participation active a \u00e9t\u00e9 essentielle \u00e0 assurer la r\u00e9sistance victorieuse face aux conservateurs de Doug\u00a0Ford et \u00e0 la tentative draconienne d\u2019intimider les travailleurs de l\u2019\u00e9ducation et de leur enlever leurs droits. CUPE\u2019s Ontario School Board Council of Unions (OSBCU) accepted the award on behalf of education workers. This was wonderful recognition for the council that did so much to mobilize and organize its members, especially Black and racialized members, in a historic fightback against austerity for the lowest paid members of the education system.
