Nous ne demandons pas beaucoup \u00bb, a dit Jen Oliver, pr\u00e9sidente du SCFP 3625. \u00ab Nous tentons seulement de prot\u00e9ger ce qui est d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans notre contrat, les prestations d\u2019assurance-maladie essentielles que nous utilisons seulement en cas de maladie ou de blessure grave. Personne ne veut \u00eatre forc\u00e9 de choisir entre aller dans un lieu de travail rempli d\u2019enfants alors que nous sommes malades, ou ne pas pouvoir payer le loyer parce que nous n\u2019avons pas de cong\u00e9s de maladie. Je pense que les parents peuvent comprendre notre situation. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Le principal enjeu des n\u00e9gociations porte sur une concession concernant la protection des employ\u00e9es atteintes d\u2019une blessure ou d\u2019une maladie grave.<br \/>\n\u00ab Nous ne savons pas pourquoi ils tentent si agressivement d\u2019\u00e9liminer les mesures de protection de notre sant\u00e9. Ce sont eux qui ont entrepris toutes les mesures qui nous ont rapproch\u00e9es de ce lock-out, a dit Jen Oliver. Nous ne voulons pas faire du piquetage. Nous pr\u00e9f\u00e9rons faire notre travail, mais ce qu\u2019ils essaient de nous forcer \u00e0 accepter compromettrait nos protections et le service que nous fournissons. Nous ne pouvons pas accepter leur proposition. C\u2019est aussi simple que \u00e7a. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Il y aura une ligne de piquetage devant Something Special Children\u2019s Centre, au 10, rue Chapman, \u00e0 Kingston, lundi matin.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Nous sommes toujours disponibles et pr\u00eats \u00e0 n\u00e9gocier en tout temps, mais il faut d\u2019abord qu\u2019il y ait une proposition n\u00e9gociable \u00bb, a dit Jen Oliver. \u00ab Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent notre employeur s\u2019est content\u00e9 de r\u00e9p\u00e9ter la m\u00eame demande, puis il nous a pouss\u00e9s vers un lock-out. Maintenant qu\u2019il nous a mises \u00e0 la porte, nous n\u2019avons nulle part o\u00f9 aller.
